Sorry, forgot to describe my setup.Same behaviour using it on Mountain Lion (up to date).
I'm using Chromium 26.0.1410.65 (193261) on OSX snow leopard (up to date).
Which platform and version of Chrome are you seeing this on?

With the latest chrome update, I am experiencing a bug where if I have the dev tools attached on the right side and I inspect an element on the page, the browser window resizes to be wider and narrows my dev tools. Not a huge bug, but an annoying inconvenience nonetheless.Solution for now seems to keep dev tools detached.
