I use Chrome Developer Tools to edit the css on all the website I
build. Up until the last few weeks its worked awesome, especially when
editing code for mobile devices. But, a few weeks ago an issue began and
I still haven't found a way to fix it. Nor have I found anyone on the
web having the same issue I am in my extensive research of how to fix
this issue. What happens is when I open up my css lines of code in the
console, it only allows me to type one letter and then the whole console
automatically refreshes before it will let me type another letter. So,
for example if I wanted to type "margin-top:" it takes about a minute or
two to do so because I have to type one letter, wait for it to refresh,
then type the second letter and so on. I've made this quick video to
show you exactly what is happening -
https://youtu.be/m1EjTHKVtXE I
am really hoping there is someone out there reading this forum that has
any idea how to fix this! I've removed Chrome from my computer and
re-installed it. I've made sure all my setting in the developer tools
were set back to default. And gone through every option in the whole
console turning everything on and off to see if that affects it, nothing
does. Please help someone! I'm begging you. What used to take me
minutes to write, now takes hours. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
