Hello.

I guess the title is self explanatory enough.
I'm evaluating long SQL string variables and can't find a way to view the complete string.
Neither watches, scope variables panel or console did the trick.

Is there a way to view or copy the complete string value??

Thanks

I am not sure regarding viewing it, but copying is possible within the console -
copy(expression);

For example -
var blabla = "dsdjlasdaskldjaskldjaskld";
copy(blabla);

Very convenient sometimes. :)

Thanks, PhistucK.  That helped.

The fact that there's no way to expand it or get the full value (without first putting it into a variable) is asinine, in my opinion.  And I generally love Chrome and dev tools, btw.  It's particularly annoying when there is plenty of room to display the full value.

You can always file a feature request at crbug.com with detailed use cases. If you also propose a sensible way to display it without hurting the common case, it might expedite the process. It might be accepted or implemented and it might not.
