Hello Everyone.  I'm having issues with breakpoints where I'm deactivating them and I have no breakpoints set to begin with yet the debugger continues to trip on something (see attached screenshot, script execution had been paused by the debugger at this point)!  I'm currently running the last Chrome Version 83.0.4103.97 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Any help greatly appreeshed.  I'm having to work in FF in the meantime!

Not quite enough information to reproduce this. Are you maybe hitting a debugger statement?

Not sure if this is because the deactivate breakpoints button is misleading?

I too have been having three different breakpoint problems in Version 83.0.4103.97 (Official Build) (64-bit) Windows 10

1. Like Chris Romano it pauses as if there a breakpoint when there isn't one. Problem persisted until I restarted Chrome.

2. Clicking on the new red circles doesn't toggle the breakpoint - I need to right click and select remove breakpoint to remove it.

3. Removed breakpoints sometimes return when I open a second dev tools window (for a different tab).

+Benedikt Meurer this sounds a bit like the issue we see for wasm.

I had a similar issue once. In the screenshot it looks like the breakpoints are deactivated correctly (button is active), no breakpoints are set and yet it seems to stop. Have to see if I can reproduce this though.

I can't reproduce this on my Chrome right now, so it looks like we are running into a series of new bugs?
