Hi

I have lost my developer tools window and inspect tools.

It appears on the task bar and displays in thumbnail when I hover the mouse over but If I try and click it nothing happens - no window.

It is not greyed out as an option - I have just uninstalled and installed  - I have applied the preferences fix putting "disabled" : false under devtools

It seems to have started since windows 10 did there latest update (10/5/2018)

Any help would be amazing as I am developing code at the moment and I am totally lost without it !!

Kind Regards

Sounds like a general Windows issue. Whenever a window does not show up when I click on its task bar icon, I press Alt + Space to bring up its legacy application menu (it will not be visible to you), I press the down arrow twice (skipping Restore and selecting Move) and press Enter. Then, I press one of the side arrows (left or right) once - which caused the window to start moving and activates move mode, usually still invisibly. Then, I move the mouse a bit (which in normal situations would move the window with it). The window usually shows up on the screen once the mouse moves, next to the mouse cursor.

Also, you can always dock it via a shortcut - Control + Shift + D.
