Chrome Developer Tools, get function's return value

I was wondering if there is the possibility to get the return value of a function without assign it to a new variable. The image below can clarify my question.

Inline values indeed do not reveal it. However, the Scope drawer in the right side bar reveals it (step into the return statement and a new <return value> will be displayed there).
