It would be cool if there was an ability to move the developer tools
window to act as a sidebar. I like to have my browser window and dev
tools side by side, but since the dev panel becomes undocked it's easy
to lose track of windows when editing multiple pages.

This seems to be a popular request. We would need to rearrange the
devtools window layout a lot though. Filing a bug:
