Hi... I ran the following in cmd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --enable-offline-auto-reload

But when I go to chrome://flags/ page in chrome and look for that flag, it is not enabled.

But when I try to set it as default browser (using the flag make-default-browser) via command prompt, it works fine.

How do I set the flag via command prompt or programmatically?

Any help is much appreciated.

I am pretty sure that manually adding a flag does not make chrome://flags show it as enabled (but the functionality of the flag should be enabled, nevertheless).

Hi Phistuck, I am not trying to add a flag here. I just want to enable it. The flag "enable-offline-auto-reload" already exist in chrome (see chrome://flags). You can manually set it. But I need this to be set via command prompt or via the short cut. But its not working for "enable-offline-auto-reload" flag.

Why just this flag is not working?

Or alternatively I can set it in the file where the flag values are stored. Especially since this is can be set manually, and since it is retained (when reloaded the value is what it was set) it has to be stored some place. Where are these values saved/stored in the system?

Please help!

By "adding a flag", I meant, to the command line or to the shortcut target.
So you basically mean that you add the flag to the command line, chrome:flags does not show it as enabled (this is by design, I think) and the functionality is actually not enabled. Right?

By the way, I accidentally thought this has anything to do with the Developer Tools feature, but it does not - so next time, use chromium-discuss instead.

Thanks Phistuck. I have posted this in stackoverflow here.

I have researched so far this flag is not possible to be enabled via command prompt. I am currently looking at possibly as an extension.
