Dev tool preview bug

Hi,

I just upgrade Chrome this morning for the 62.0.32.02.75 version and the Preview Tab doesn't work anymore. With laravel debug function dd(), it use to display the html or json format of the output, but I get the string version.

any idea of the reason?

That should have been fixed (crbug.com/763921), weird.

Perhaps your situation is a bit different. What is the content type? What is the status code?

Perhaps some content sniffing is going on? Not sure.

You can file a new issue using the "New issue" link on crbug.com.

You can reply with a link to the found or created issue and might get triaged (and fixed) faster.

I am having the same issue.  Content-Type:text/html, status code:200.  On Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit).  My XHR Preview will no longer display it properly, it looks the same as the Response Tab.

Yeah I am having this issue too. Especially with Laravel dd()  function. 

I actually went back to version 59 but it self-updated again to 62. Very annoying!!  Now I need to waste time to either go back to the old version or look for another tool

I can confirm the issue is stil present as of 62.0.3202.94.  Very annoying, it used to work well...

this still happens on 

Versie 63.0.3239.108 (Officiële build) (64-bits)

i was able to have a proper preview, but since a while now this is not possible any more. Not sure what happened, and a search on the net brought me here.

Seems i am not the only one.

On canary even still no preview possible. Just plain html, while it was once possible to just see the html as proper webcontent. (for debugging etc)

any settings i maybe need to change?

or is this just a real bug?
