reasons to use canary

Why do you think someone might want use Canary for developing purposes.
Is it maybe so that he/she can work with the extensions disabled?

The dev tools are available also in the regular version of Chrome.

In many cases it's simply because the newest things landing in the DevTools are available within a day or two in Canary.
Otherwise you have to wait about 10 weeks to show up in regular, stable Chrome. 

And it's nice that you can have a separate Chrome that's running all the latest things that can go side-by-side with stable Chrome
