Chrome DevTools Profiles JSON format

I would like to use the Chrome DevTools Profiles file format to construct my own profile data that can be loaded into this tool for viewing. I've looked at the JSON that is created when you save a profile capture and I'd like to know the specific file format.

AFAIUI, the format is just a data structure that makes sense for the devtools frontend. It's unlikely we'd document and commit to not changing it in the future in backwards-incompatible ways. 

I think it'd be great for you to generate this format to load into the tool, just be aware it's possible we may change it. (Though, It's not something I'd expect to happen often)
