Hi,
I love devtools, but this feature is really irritating...
When opening the inspector, this option (the magnifying glass at the bottom of the inspector) is selected by default, which I don't want.
Whenever I click on an element on the page, it automatically switches to "Elements" tab and inspects it, even when i'm not interested in it since I am in the network tab.
Any help would be much appreciated :)
Thank you!

I think you may be using the wrong keyboard shortcut to open devtools.

Try ctrl-shift-i for general devtools or ctrl-shift-j for console.
ctrl-shift-c will open it in inspect mode.

Hope that helps

Nice, I didn't know there were several shortcuts to open it (use ⌥⌘I on mac).
Thank Paul.

There is an even quicker one - F12 (at least on Windows).
