Feature Request: Sources groups and breakpoint groups

Hi I am a very happy user of the chrome developer tools, nice work :)

Most of my time I am working on the same single page app, which has a lot of scripts due to it's modular structure.
For a long time I have felt that it would be convenient, if I could group my sources by type, so I won't have to open them via ctrl + p all the time.
So for example when I am looking for a bug, I know which scripts may cause the error but the chain of scripts/modules is quiet long.

This way I could open the group ot source tabs and then set my breakpoints at the places, where I assume the error must come from.
Here sometimes I also think that it would be quite convention if I could save my breakpoints grouped or as a named session, since those also don't change too much.

This way I could have a set of breakpoints, which can be enabled so I won't have to do this every time.

At the moment I sometimes keep deactivated breakpoints to achieve this, but sometimes they get cluttered up and I have to clear them for better overview.

So this is my idea I had for quite a long time, keep up the good work 👍

I would consider you a power user of DevTools' code debugging capabilities. I agree that we could do a better job for users like yourself to organize their workflow. We have some ideas how to improve code debugging, but are also looking for opportunities to improve the user experience.

+Peter Müller and +Benedikt Meurer, could we consider Ray's suggestions going forward?

That does indeed sound like an interesting feature to me, although I'm not sure on the exact UX here.

+Marian Mraz +Peter Müller can we add this to the UX exploration backlog for debugging features?

Ray, can you file a feature request on crbug.com please, and include as much background on your exact use case as possible?
