Custom uri scheme name (protocol) for file links on the inspector (file:// -> subl://)

Is it possible to customise the url's which point to files so they open in an external editor?

Many editors support custom scheme names (protocols) and have a specific scheme which support line numbers as well.

You might want to look into devtools extension API: http://developer.chrome.com/extensions/devtools.panels.html#method-setOpenResourceHandler
