Good morning. We have an issue with one student and their Google site.
When trying to inset an image using  Insert > Drive > Image.
The student can navigate to a folder of images shared to him and select one. But this generates the error 'The URL you entered is not supported'.

The same error is generated if the student selects an image from their own Drive as well.

We are only seeing this on one student's account. All other users seem fine.
Any help appreciated.

Hi Brian

The one time I saw this error might not be relevant to what you're experiencing but how we identified the issue should be able to help. In our case the owner of the shared files had accidently moved the hosting folder to their trash. It was still searchable but could not be accessed.
We were able to discover the cause of the issue by using the Reports feature in the Google Admin Portal. In Reports, try doing an Audit on Drive; you can narrow the search with specific information on users, file names, time & dates, etc. It is pretty powerful. Good luck!
