Printing from Chromebooks - booklets

Hi All

Does anyone know of a good app or extensions that allows PDF to print from Chromebook as a booklet?

The Printing to Canon IR ADV C5030 does not give enough options to create a booklet- the pages do not change in order as they do on a PC - Adobe print booklet.

And I can't see enough options to change this.

Does anyone have any solutions? It is part of a NZQA unit.

Perhaps a better PDF app or extension that works with a booklet setting?

Hi Robyn, great question. We’ve been using Chromebooks for about 6 years and this one only came up once with a student that I know of. Our solution at that time was to print the document in the regular way and then have the copier turn it into a book when it gets rescanned in. Not really ideal but it worked.

Some thoughts on how to do this directly might be to try the acrobat reader android app on a chrome book or, failing that, we have had great success running full windows apps on chrome books using Remote Desktop to a windows server. Again, not a perfect solution but that last one will work for sure. Mostly we’ve used that one to give students access to software like autocad.
