Ownership of a document

Good afternoon. 

Is there any way for a Google administrator to identify the account holder of a Google doc file given the URL of the file?

We have the URL of a 'dubious' document and we are trying, from its URL, to locate its author without them knowing.

If you have opened it, you can use File - document details.

If it is owned by your domain, you can copy the ID from the URL and paste it in Google Admin - Reports - Drive.
