Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect()

Hi,

I have followed the instructions for installing the Checkout module
but i am now getting this message when i click the module section and
also when trying the url/responsehandler.php.

The full error is :

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_db_connect() (previously declared
in /home/knowledg/public_html/includes/functions/database.php:13) in /
home/knowledg/public_html/includes/functions/database.php on line 13

Can anyone help?

Is there another function call in the files you need to upload with
this module?
