Hey all,

I wanted to setup the google connectors to allow my Google Apps users
access to view/modify details of calendars of people who are still on
Exchange (during the trial phase).

I have setup everything, verified I can view Free/Busy information,
etc. I enabled the "<add key="Exchange.EnableAppointmentLookup"
value="True" />" and set my Query user to have receive as access just
like the admin user has.

However, I cannot figure out how to get the details. I would like to
be able to add my Exchange users Appointment information as an iCal to
my Google Apps users. This way they can see a particular users
information in the Calendar view.

I found the GCalExchangeLookup/ExchangeQuerierAsIcal.aspx?
email=<email> to show the Free/Busy information that I can use as an
iCal source link, however this doesn't show up on my calendar, and the
information from that URL does NOT have any appointment information.

Is there anyway I can add an Exchange user's calendar to my Google
Apps account to view all appointment details? If so, can I take this
one step further and modify/add appointments for this user?

Also, I have a few users who are using Google Outlook Sync. I read on
the administration page to add a registry key with the URL for
"GCalExchangeLookup/ExchangeQuerierAsIcal.aspx", and I did. This had
NO effect the next time I launched Outlook. What is this supposed to
enable? From Outlook I cannot view any Free/Busy information, so I was
hoping by figuring out the aforementioned questions I'd be able to at
least view Exchange users calendars side-by-side.

I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to get what I'm looking
for completed.

Hi,

GCC Web service would only show the free\busy information with some details( the details which are available in Exchange free\busy). It does not allow to modify the other users calendar. The ExchangeQuerierAsIcal.aspx is the link that you use while using GASMO for looking up Exchange user free\busy. It provides the same functionality that ExchangeQuerier.aspx gives in web based gcal.

If you have set up the GASMO properly and not able to see the free\busy in outlook after setting the registry key, then could you please verify the accessibility of the link from a browser on a machine where GASMO is installed. Try to access the link http://freebusy.server.com/GCalExchangeLookup/ExchangeQuerierAsIcal.aspx?email=someu...@yourdomain.com from a browser.

Thanks,
Jaideep

When I access that URL from a browser where GASMO is installed, I see this:

Also, I see no details of these appointments. They are NOT set to private so I am curious as to why no details are being shown. I am able to see Free/Busy information from Google when I try to check availability, but I don't see this in Outlook!!

It would be nice if a 3rd script could be given to give out free/busy/details in a format where I can add it to my Google Calendar by URL, is this possible with the ExchangeQuerierAsIcal.aspx? Please let me know if you need any additional information!

Thanks,
Prateek
