Hi,
I would like to link the breakpad libraries (mainly the "exception handler") with the software that I´m developing (c++) and I couldn´t find any instructions about how to start using the libs. Could you please tell me where can I look for more information about how to use the libraries?

Many thanks in advance,

Vlad

P.S.: I´m using Windows.

Yeah I'm pretty much looking for the same thing but for linux-64,
have you figured it out yet?

Hi Vlad,

You can see a very simple example in the source tree here:
http://code.google.com/p/google-breakpad/source/browse/trunk/src/processor/testdata/test_app.cc

You'll need to build the library in src/client/windows/handler and
link it with your app (there's a VC++ project there, it should be
easy).

For a more complex example, you can look at the Mozilla source:
http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/toolkit/crashreporter/nsExceptionHandler.cpp#315

We are really lacking in documentation. If you get things working and
want to contribute a how-to guide, it would be welcome. :)

Regards,
-Ted

FYI, Breakpad doesn't have support for Linux x86-64 on the client side
currently.
