iOS EXC_RESOURCE RESOURCE_TYPE_MEMORY

Hi,
Has anyone managed to handle EXC_RESOURCE RESOURCE_TYPE_MEMORY exceptions in iOS?
I cannot do it and curios to find out if it is iOS limitation or something else.
