Error message on Blog Import

I'm getting the following message on importing a blog: "Writing blog posts: Sorry, the import failed due to a server error. The error code is bX-3qlg69." Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi Chuck,

It looks like you are hitting an internal error. Can you please try again tomorrow?

I am getting the same thing. I have been trying to upload some XML files from my past blogs onto my new blog (so I have one master blog) and it just won't work unless it's coming from another blog that's been hosted on blogger.

It has been a few days and it's the same error over and over, on different browsers, and having restarted browsers and the actual computer.

Any ideas or conversion tools that could make these non-blogger xml files compatible enough to import onto blogger?

I am trying to generate the export files from Tumblr and Wordpress?

I am having the same problem. I have converted my wordpress xml file to a blogger compatible xml file, tried using chome and ie explorer, took out all the widgets and re-created the xml file, etc etc. 

I guess I'll keep trying.

Yeah, it seems like the only xml files that we can import onto blogger are the ones from blogspot. It doesn't seem to work for wordpress or tumblr at all. It's pretty weird. I'd really like to bring all my past posts onto one blog.

Hi, has anyone resolved this issue? I'm trying to import from Tumblr but it is giving me an error when I import the XML file on Blogger.

I tried this and it worked. I have a tumblr blog that I wanted to pass to Blogger. Since Blogger kept sending me the error, I went to Worspress and imported my Tumblr blog. Since I wasn't interested in the WP account, I only used it help me pass my blog. Now that I have it on WP, I went here http://wordpress2blogger.appspot.com/ to convert it into a xml file. Went to Blovgrr, import thr xml, and done. Please let me know if this work for you.
