Can't import from xml to blogpost. File to large. HELP!

I have a bunch of posts i really want back on my blogpost from wordpress. I downloaded the xml from wordpress and converted file. It won't upload. Can someone help me figure out how to upload this large file to blogpost. I would really appreciate it.

I tried again and got this:

Finished: Sorry, the import failed due to a server error. The error code is bX-7rv9ue

But i also tried to upload another worpress export xml that was smaller then 1mb and still got the same thing. Can someone help? Please. 

When I go to convert file in wordpress to blogger, it turns it into an html file. Is that right? So confused.

Hi Steph,

Can you step me through what steps you have done. E.g. exported from wordpress.com to get file foo.xml. Uploaded foo.xml to blarp.com to convert it, resulting file is wiffle.xml. Uploaded wiffle.xml to blogger.com/service.

I exported my wordpress content to xml. Then converted in the wordpress2blooger and it exported as an xml.html. I thought that was strange. That wouldn't import so i tried the original xml file and that wouldn't import into blogger either. kept getting that error code. Am I doing something wrong?

I am sorry I forgot to list the file names. I'm not sure my posts went through as I haven't seen it here. So I exported from Wordpress.org the jujubunny.wordpress.2012-09-22.xml file. Then I converted it through wordpress2blogger and it turned into the blogger-export.xml.html file. When I tried to upload onto the blogger import, I got the failure message I posted in my first post. Hope that helps.
