I agree. The Google email authenticator should also be on smart phones not
android, bb and iphone only.
Please do this asap as my account is getting trashed by iranians..
I have created a client for Symbian^3 with Qt. I will share the source code
in few hours with you.
Source code released @ http://code.google.com/p/cuteauthenticator/
This is a quick-and-dirty version and not a production quality application.
Released as in works-for-me. Tested with Qt 4.7.2 on E7-00 (Symbian^3). The
project can be compiled with NokiaQtSDK 1.1 Beta.
BLOCK THIS LINK EVEN FROM ANY OTHER SMART PHONES
If you manage to compile it please link here for people to test for safety
A J2ME client would work on Symbian, Blackberry (and Windows Mobile with
additional software installed) and most feature phones... It should be able
to share quite a bit of code with the Android version as well.
Authenticator (j2me):

NTP sync (Symbian native):
http://sites.google.com/site/symbianaddictsite/Home/FreeTimeBox_v1.05_freeware.sisx
At first authenticator didn't work, but I noticed that my network time was
4 minutes off. FreeTimeBox synced my time to be correct using NTP.
Works like a charm on my Nokia E71 (S60 3rd edition)
I am looking into getting a Nokia N9 and will also need this soon for
Maemo/MeeGo.
worked like a glove. my android phone died and I had to switch to an nokia
n73 using symbian s60 v3. ty dmitrij.
can some body please compile cuteauthenticator for symbian.... It doesn't
matter even if sis is unsigned please I need this application very badly...
I am unable to compile it on symbian sdk
