Modeless Dialog Box Won't Display in Google Forms

There is a new Google Apps Script bug that is preventing modeless dialog boxes
from being shown.
My add-on users have reported the problem and a new issue has been created on the Issue Tracker.
If this problem affects you, you can help escalate the issue by upvoting the issue on the
AppsScript Issue Tracker.

The Title of the Issue is:
Bug - FormApp.getUi().showModelessDialog() fails with no error
