Update X-Axis & series

Anyone knows how can I update the X-Axis and Series ranges of a chart with app script ?

That is a pretty wide and general area to cover. Can it be done? Yes.  There is no easy answer without knowing a lot more about your specific situation.

As noted not much to go on but can relate with the issue of finding the right chart options. Watching a recent episode of Sheets to Apps on How to build a Google Analytics Dashboard with Apps Script and Google Sites I learned that you can use the Google Sheets Macro Recorder to record a modification to a chart which then exposes all the setOptions() . Something to note is as the Charts  Service appears to only be a partial implementation of EmbeddedChart  used in SpreadsheetApp Service not all of the ChartTypes and options are implemented, not sure if this includes range.
