How to show a modal or dialog in a Gmail Addon

I'm a beginner in script apps.

I understood how to use views through cards, but I can't find a basic way to start a modal or a dialog from my Add On that should work in Gmail.

I found many examples using FormApp. getUi but as I understoodd there is no GmailApp.getUi.

Is there a way to do this?

As I know a Gmail Add-on can't interrupt or change the proc flow of Gmail.
