Time-driven triggers for Gmail add-ons

I need to use time-driven trigger in an add-on for gmail.

I can use it in development, but I can not publish to my domain. I get this error:

"Gmail add-ons may not request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.scriptapp scope."

I read that gmail add-on has no installable triggers.

"https://developers.google.com/gsuite/add-ons/concepts/triggers"

Is it possible to create an hourly trigger in the Gmail add-on in another way?

Wow! I didn't hear that it may be possible to use time-driven triggers there. As far as I understand, scripts for Gmail are slaves to context events.
