Solution for Google Slides Theme with more than six accent colours

Hi there!

I am searching for a solution to this following issue: I would like to change the design of my slide by changing the colours and the easiest solution would be to change the theme colours. But I have eight colours I want to incorporate. Is there any solution where I can work with eight colours or do I have to write a Google Apps Script program. And if so, does anybody have any tips and suggestions?

Hello, it seems that Slides only supports the 6 Accent colors, even with Apps Script (on the right). 

However, you may be able to still use custom colors on specific items if you can identify and target those items specifically. 

I know it is possible to have more than one theme since each slide can have its own theme, but again, only up to 6 accent colors each.

I was going to suggest creating your theme in Powerpoint and uploading/converting to Slides, but it appears 6 Accent colors is the standard:
