Google Docs Menu for Custom Building Blocks

I am the company admin responsible for all templates and the documents created from those templates.  I have a very extensive software background and am comfortable using some of the advanced options in Google Workplace Docs.  However, I am retiring in December and need a way for those coming after me with basic Docs experience to quickly view Custom Building Blocks while creating contracts and letters.  

I have created an extensive library of templates that are NOT stored in the "templates" area of Docs, but rather in a Templates folder in Drive.  These documents use "Comments" and bracketed ("[ ]") text to cue the user.  I have started to convert the  templates to use Variables, Drop Down Lists, and Custom Building blocks with instructions to the user in Comments.  The Variables and Drop Down Lists are relatively easy to find however, accessing Custom Building Blocks is cumbersome and frankly that will frustrate my team and cause problems.   Both access methods require remembering where to start and which option to select - all of which take time to get to.  Having to do the same steps to access each Block in contracts that contain a large number of Blocks is just not productive.  

There also doesn't appear to be a way to sort the Blocks in any particular order.  I use a naming convention that identifies the document,  section, and paragraph with a description.  The hover feature helps quite a bit and I don't have issues finding the blocks because I created them.  In a test run with our COO, he became frustrated and he will be doing the contracts until my replacement is found and he is very familiar with the templates.  

I desperately need a solution.  How can I create a new Menu ("Contracts") that contains submenus for:   1) Custom Building Blocks, 2) Drop Down Lists, and (perhaps) 3) links to templates or at least to the main category folders?    

Please keep in mind that I am not a developer or programmer but I have a basic understanding of App Scripts.

Have you thought of creating some screen capture videos walking users through some custom tutorials on your company specific documents? Keep them specific and short (2 min).

Thank you for responding.  Yes - every process is captured in training videos with screen captures.  The issue is the ability of non-admins to retain and use that information or whether they will butcher the templates out of frustration.  There has to be a way to create some menus and put the information they need within easy reach with a minimum number of clicks.  I also find it frustrating to have to do 5 or 6 steps every time I need to access a Building Block.

Hopefully someone will have an idea.
