[TL,DR -Has anybody experimented  with any workflows for using VScode.dev to develop GAS solutions?  If so, will you please share your process?]

My coding skills have improved (thanks to many of you in this community!!!) and I have been trying to move away from the GAS IDE and use Visual Studio code editor.  My main drawback to it is that I am a "100%" cloud user.  My job as a Curriculum Supervisor for K-12 education has me traveling from school to school.  Because of Google, I don't have to lug around a laptop... I just use whatever computer is available at the school I am at, log into Google, had to Google Drive and commence to working on any scripts, spreadsheets, documents, etc...  With Visual Studio Code this is not possible...

Yes, I know about "clasp" BUT I still need a computer with VScode installed....

But... maybe... not anymore!!!!

VScode.dev is here!!! A web based version of VScode!!!  Check out the news release:

So this is a step in the right direction for me... but now I have to find out how to use 'clasp' from VScode.dev.

Which leads me to my question:  Has anybody experimented with any workflows for using VScode.dev to develop GAS solutions?  If so, will you please share your process?

Thanks!
Michael

Michael,
It is a start. I don't use the web version, but from what I just experienced for myself, I don't think this will help you much.
A) you would maintain your code on Github
B) there is no terminal, therefore, no CLASP
C) there is a G-Drive extension, but it isn't available for the web version
D) it still works with files/folders on the local machine

Honestly, you would be better off just throwing everything on a thumb drive/USB stick, along with an actual Vscode or Atom on the drive with your files. I personally would get more out of the IDE.
Just a quick review.
