Hi all-
I have a slides addon at work that uses an html sidebar for interaction. On many slides there are graphics that get updated every day, say for example, a weather map graphic showing the forecast. I press a button to update the image (urlfetch, replace image) no problems, all is working fine.

The issue I have is the filmstrip on the left side always go back up to slide 1. If I am on slide 50 updating an image, after updating, I am now scrolling down the film strip to get back to slide 50. This is more of a nuisance than anything else, but was wondering if this is just the way Slides works, or is there something I can set to keep it from having the filmstrip reset every time?  All thoughts/ideas welcome!

Thanks!

Without further information, this sounds like the way the add-on was scripted.
Unless I could see the code I'm not sure what to suggest other than suggesting you speak to the add-on creator and asking them to put in a line to prevent the Slides returning to slide 1.

I assume that it is a private add-on that you are speaking of rather than one that can be downloaded by anyone?

Of course, I could be wrong and it could be a limitation of Slides but I don't remember the film strip moving by itself on any of my Slides add-ons.

Sorry.. I created the addon. lol  So if it was designed that way, it was my error! :)   It is just a weird thing that happens and I haven't found the specific line of code that causes it (if there is one).
