MailApp.getRemainingDailyQuota returns an old limit

Hello everybody,
I am using a Google Business and Sgript Apps account to send emails to a number of recipients.
At the address https://developers.google.com/apps-script/guides/services/quotas is reported a maximum limit of 1500 recipients / day.

I did some tests yesterday afternoon and this morning the getRemainingDailyQuota function still returns an old number of recipients (the same of yesterday).

Does the limit refers to 24 hours from the last sending or should it be reset at midnight of the previous day?

The quota resets at midnight every day.

Could it be the timezone that is counted as midnight? Might not be the one where you are?

I had observed it reseting at midnight Eastern Time zone (EST). I do not know if this is a global reset or merely for North America.
