Password input for Card Service

So I have this non-Google service, that has a simple user-password flow, now to get this flow, I need to display a form that needs to have a password input, there is no password input for card service. Is there any other way I can implement this?

I know non-Google services are supposed to use OAuth for authorization, but this is a legacy application that only takes a username-password.

I had tried searching about it a month ago, and I found out that it is not possible to add password field in the Card Service. They have dropdown, checkbox and radio buttons as stated here. Other fields such as password, date picker, etc are not possible.

So is there any other way I can implement the password flow? Did you face the same issue? How can I go around solving it?

Even I am not finding input field of type password in Card service.

Could anyone found any workaround OR does google added password field support to Card service.

Are you building a Gmail add-on? If not, couldn't you switch to the html service?
