Hello, I am pretty new to writing Gmail Add Ons...I was looking to integrate a date picker into my script but haven't found any ways to do it. Attached is a screenshot of my current solution, but it is hideous and not a great user experience. Has anyone added a date picker to their gmail add ons? If so, how? Thanks!

Gmail add-ons are widget based, so the best we can do at the moment is use what existing widgets we have available. There's a feature request to add a date widget on Google's issue tracker, you can star the issue there to bring more attention to it:
