Service Documents failed while accessing document with id error

I have a function which accepts two pre-filled documents and one blank document. The function will copy the contents from the two documents to the blank document. When I execute the function, I am getting error,

Error

Service Documents failed while accessing document with id <blank document id>

I checked the permissions of all three documents and it's all having Anyone with link permission. Please help me on resolving this issue.
