Can I write to a Google Sheet from a different website?

I've been working with Google AI Studio to create a script that allows me to insert data into a Google Sheet from a different website via post. 

But I keep getting a 405 error. Google AI Studio said that should not happen and we went through lots of trouble shooting. But the problem remains and Google's AI is "surprised" it doesn't work.

So, I wanted to confirm if my goal is even possible.

OK, I don't have an answer, however this sounds very interesting.

I am almost positive it is a permissions thing.  If you are testing I would just start by changing the permissions to "anyone with the link" can "edit" on the spreadsheet you are trying to write to.  If it works then you know it is a permissions issue.

Share some code if you can.  I would be interested in what your project in Google AI Studios looks like.
