I am making a Gmail add-on for a client, I previously built it on my own account and was able to do a test deployment and I know that it works. I needed to host the project on my client's Google account so I had her make an Apps Scripts project as well as a Google Cloud project and she gave me Editor access to both of those. I copied over my code and I set up 0Auth and scopes and gave myself test user access on the Cloud project.

Now- I'm trying to test the add-on through Apps Scripts but when I click on Test Deployment it gives me a pop-up message with the non-descriptive error: "Something went wrong. Please reload the page to try again." or it just keeps spinning and says "Loading deployment..". I believe I have all the correct authorizations to be able to run a test deployment and install the app add-on in my account from that screen but it's just not loading up.

I had my client click on Test Deployment from her account which is the Owner of the project, and it seemed to work fine there. Any ideas? Is it a bug?

May not be the answer but have you tried clearing cookies, local storage and the rest of the gang? You could have confused Google with your personal and client’s settings.

Hey, yes I have tried all of that, and I'm still having the same issue. When I click on Test Deployments it does give me an "Uncaught (in promise)" error I notice.

I found a stack overflow post describing the same issue from just 3 weeks ago.
