Hi all!

So can you answer two questions?

As I can understand,  no one from Google seems available for a new release of @google/clasp.
  1. Did you try https://www.npmjs.com/package/forked-clasp instead? The repo https://github.com/PopGoesTheWza/clasp
  2. Can we contribute the project with this community?
Best, Alex.

Hi Alex,

The usual way for others to contribute to code is to form it and work on it, then raise a pull request. I’m curious what you have in mind?

If there's a need for a new release to fix a critical issue let me know.

I've been keeping track of the apps script project on github (defined as having an appsscript.json) for my https://scrviz.web.app tracker.

687 out of 2713 projects have a .clasp.json file. fyi.

@Adam

Now I draw attention to the alternative. No active action is required at this time.

@Steven

As I can know it's fine now. But I will keep in mind. Thank you!

@Bruce

Hmmm... It's not very trendy. This is very popular for Apps Script. It seems to me.

OK.

I see that Google is making it clear that the alternative options are much wider, encouraging developers to use the gcloud cli. https://developers.googleblog.com/2021/03/evolving-google-workspace-add-ons-with.html

Having known Google for so many years, I prefer to quickly switch to anything from their feed. Even on the Nimbus 2000 if it'll be there.
