Is it possible to "schedule" publishing a document (monthly, quarterly, etc.)

I've searched quite a bit and run into very empty results for this one.

I own several procedural documents that hundreds refer to on a regular basis, but they change often as editors who own sections, refine their pieces. However, the public versions that align with our standard support agreements, change very seldom.

I'm trying to find a way to schedule the publishing of these documents on a quarterly basis  (with a manual breakglass for procedures that have to change immediately).

The standard Google Docs has a hard-coded 5-minute publishing timer, so once you select to publish a document, it gets emitted publicly every 5 minutes. I can't influence that timer.

Is there another way to do this, perhaps with GAS, but not tied to my individual GApps human account, so it continues to work if I move to new org within the company, or need to hand ownership off to another team member?

Thanks in advance!

Set up a Shared Drive. Create a time based trigger that runs some Apps Script code.
