Google Form App Script

Hi

I have a google form that has a script but i cannot get it to 'format'  the fields to put the each question and answer on a separate line.  I have put 

emailBody += question + ": " + answer + "\n";

detailsForNotification += question + ": " + answer + "\n";

but this only works for 2 lines and the rest ends as a long line

have i done something wrong?
