How can I add a "refresh page on user click" button to my google site using apps script?

I don't know that you can since google forces scripts to run in sandbox mode and strips off any code you may insert that affects the page. That doesn't mean you can't simply put a button or link at the bottom with an <a href> link back to the same page. Might work.. but might also just provide whatever is in cache.
