Privately test addon before publishing to Google marketspace

Hi all,
Is there any way to test the editor add-on privately before publishing to hands of the user (Google marketspace).

For e.g, In android development, We are whitelist some email ids as beta testers to be visible for that emails id only in playstore, likewise is there any way to do in google marketspace?

You can share the project with people by email and let them run test deployments. Simply use the share button like in a Google Doc. 

Please be advisde that this give people access to your add-on code though, so if you have any secrets in there, they are exposed to your users. Use only with people you trust.

There is another way also, you can add testers to your add-on. They would get access to the add-on and be able to test capability.

It would have been nice if Google allowed add-on to be published privately for testers so it is tested more fully as a typical add-on but unfortunately that is not possible.

I have tried sharing the script for testing. It works.

As george said, it would be nice if Google allows for private publishing. So that we can feel the testing from the user's view.
