Adding a File Upload Programatticly through Forms API

Looking at the Google Forms API documentation there seems to be ways to add all types of titles, questions, and features of manually creating a Form, but not the File Upload option. Is there any workaround to add this programmatically or a known date that it will be added?

I don't believe there is a way to add it through the Apps Script Forms Service and there is no Google Forms REST API available.
