Title:  Project Manager

Location: Austin, Texas 

Duration: 8+ Months

Client: Department of Information, ITSAC

 

Mandatory Skills

• Experience with applying project management tools and techniques in the development and enhancement of complex automated and non-automated systems. 
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies both traditional and Agile/Scrum
• Experience with scheduling and implementing large, multi-faceted projects and tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
• Experience with interacting, collaborating and communicating clearly on technical components surrounding business applications to Executive staff, customer groups and other impacted organizations.
• Experience with working in a team environment and to promote a positive climate that fosters cooperation and teamwork.
• Experience with identifying, analyzing and developing solutions for complex problems.
• Experience with prioritizing and handling multiple concurrent project tasks, working under pressure, and ensure high-quality deliverables and outcomes.
• Extensive experience with highly complex security application requirements
• Experience with identifying risks and develop effective mitigation strategies and/or contingency plans.
• Experience with establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Experience with working with minimal supervision and make sound decisions.
• Experience with PeopleSoft and/or PeopleTools technology/architecture
• Experience with Business Intelligence technology
• Experience with data warehouse architecture standards, process, and methodology

Desired

• Proficient with the Microsoft Windows and Office products including Outlook, Link, Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Financial (FIN) and Human Capital Management (HCM) applications. 
• Experience with CPA CAPPS applications
• Experience with PeopleSoft FIN/HCM PeopleSoft Security Framework
• Experience managing a PeopleSoft/Business Objects/Data Warehouse integration and implementation project.
• Experience with PeopleSoft QAS(QSS, QMS, QES)
• Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government)
• PGMP or PMP certification.
