Title: QA Analyst
Location: St. Paul, MN
Duration: 1 Year
Client: MN department of Human Services
Project Environment
The Quality Assurance Analyst will need to interface with a variety of individuals both on the project team and individuals outside the project team that may have a vested interest and can offer information pertaining to the project including:
Program Director
Project Manager
Business Analyst
Developers
Database Administrators
Information Technology Group
System Architects
All members of the QA staff (Managers, Supervisors, Leads, other QA Analysts)
DHS Business staff
MN.IT employees
External vendors
Stakeholder community including the counties and health care provider organizations
Other agency team members
Mandatory Skills
B.S. or B.A. degree (4 year)
OR
Associates degree (2 year) with five (5) years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst
OR
Seven (7) years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst.
Five (5) engagements in a Quality Assurance Analyst role, each with a different organization and each lasting a minimum of three (3) months.
One (1) engagement working in a public sector environment (i.e., Federal, State, County, City, or Municipality government).
Desired Skills
Computer Science or Information Technology degree
Experience creating the following documentation:
o Test Strategy
o Test Plan
o Test Cases
o Final Test Report
Experience with both Black Box and Grey Box testing
Experience writing and executing basic SQL query commands
Experience working on public sector environment (i.e., Federal, State, County, City, or Municipality government) health project(s)
