Consistant unsuccessful verification! Help!

Last month I applied for Google Apps in the hopes that I could create Emails that had my domain name in it.  Unfortnately, the company in charge of my website took far too long to embed the meta tag and I think it has timed out.  Now when I am trying to log in it gives me a message that says it is not verified, but when I try to create a new Google App profile for my website it tells me that the site is awaiting verification!

Help me! I am very confused and I need this confirmed asap.
