Unable to set HTML signature

I see messages regarding the difficulties people are having with this
issue dating back over a year, yet all I hear from Google is "Yeah,
we've mentioned it to our developers and they've been thinking about
it for awhile now".
When the fuck do we get some action on this? How bout a committed date
to solve it?
How bout ANYTHING except "yeah, we just might do that some day."

Yes, and we're using it (or trying to).  See my other thread about how the HTML we're sending in isn't the same as what we are getting out again.
