Import inbox,sentmails,trash....

Hi,

 

I am developing an application in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET .I have a requirement to import all inbox,sent mail,trash,feeds,contacts,labels, photos etc from gmail ,when the user logins with his user id and password of gmail ,is there any way to import all these things from gmail .Is it possible to do implement this functionality in .NET and if possible what are the requirements we need to have to import all these thing from gmail.

Hi Pradeep,

You can access the gmail account of the users of your domain only using APIs. 

Can you please elaborate what you are trying to do? Where do you want to import the inbox etc?

Lets see into your need to know if that can be done.

Hi,

I have a requirement to develope a mailing service.In order to use this service first he needs to create an account with an already existing e-mail Id,for example he is having a mail id x...@gmail.com. After his successful completion of his  registration with this mail id,he moves to the user's page there basing on his email id used for registration .For example if he used gmail account email id for registering we need to import all hi contacts,inbox,sent mails,labels,trash,feeds etc like all the things that the gmail mail service which is providing i.e which he used for registring into our new mailing serving.This is our actual requirement.                 
                                  Now the actual question is there any way that we can import inbox,sentmail,trash,labels ,feeds etc from Gmail mail service,If this is possible please let us know how is it possible .

Hello Pradeep

Currently Gmail API doesn't support getting all the feeds. But you can get inbox feeds of unread mails of the user using Gmail inbox feed. It gives you a read only access. Other than that you should look at other Gmail APIs here.
