Domain name renewed... but only for 1 month?

I received an e-mail notifying me that my domain name was being automatically renewed and my credit card being charged $10. 

That's fine. I want that. 

BUT while it says it renewed for a year, it also says my domain registration is only valid until October 1, 2011, which is obviously in one month, not a year. I just don't want to lose my domain name because of some small oversight like this. How can I make sure everything's as it should be?

Hi,

Everything looks fine. Your domain name has been renewed for another year. It expires on Oct 1, 2012.

You can go in your Domain Settings >Domain names.

There you can see the next renewal date to be Oct 1, 2012.

As for valid date, I suppose it must be Validation time, from when your domain gets renewed.
